RESETTLEMENT WORKER (2 POSTS)
Applications are sought for the positions of _Resettlement Worker
_with Good Shepherd Cork for Redclyffe Family Hub.
Redclyffe provides emergency accommodation to families who are
experiencing homelessness. The Resettlement Worker will be responsible
for assisting in the delivery of a service aimed at providing a
welcoming, compassionate, and professional service to the men, women
and children in Redclyffe.
* POST 1 - CONTRACT ? **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** MONTHS. Working
**Apply on the website** hours per week on a set rota.
* POST 2 - CONTRACT- **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** MONTHS. Working
**Apply on the website** hours per week of which **Apply on the
website** hrs will be based on a set-rota. Remaining **Apply on the
website** hours will comprise relief hours.
These are shift work positions and will require some evening, night
and weekend work. Flexibility will be required about working hours.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A relevant qualification in Social Care or an appropriate
equivalent
* A minimum of one year?s relevant work experience
* Experience working within homeless services
* Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
* Professional and caring approach to working with vulnerable men,
women and children.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* An excellent knowledge and understanding of the Children?s First
Guidelines for Child Protection and Safeguarding
* A genuine interest in the work of Good Shepherd Cork and
commitment to our vision, mission and values
